Open to AMEB level 5 and above piano students, this masterclass with John Granger Fisher will allow for 6 students to have 30min instruction. Students are encouraged to hang around and observe each other’s lessons.

John has performed around the world at major venues including Wigmore Hall, London and Carnegie Hall, New York. He has appeared as soloist with various Australian orchestras and ensembles and has toured Queensland with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

John Fisher

John Granger Fisher has established himself as one of Australia’s foremost concert pianists. A winner of international, Australian, British and American piano competitions and musical awards, John has performed at prestigious venues around the world, including Wigmore Hall, London and Carnegie Hall, New York.

John was unanimously awarded the Royal College of Music Gold Medal for piano – the Chappell Medal – and subsequently performed throughout the UK. He has performed at major venues like Wigmore Hall, London music festivals and international concert series. John has appeared as soloist with Australian, American and British orchestras and ensembles and toured Queensland with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. He has performed with distinguished instrumental and vocal soloists and chamber music partners.
