#Meet Your Host

Dane Simpson

Dane Simpson

The undisputed Comedy King of Wagga, Dane Simpson burst onto the scene in 2015 as a national finalist on Deadly Funny and from there it has been a fast-rising trajectory for this
comedian in hot demand.

From there Dane’s stratospheric rise continued with him recently on The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition, Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala, The Opening Night AllStar SuperShow or showing off cooking skills (or lack thereof) on The Cook-up with Adam Liaw.

#Meet The Line Up

David Quirk

David Quirk

Seen in a bathtub with Josh Thomas in Please Like Me, with Celia Pacquola and Luke McGregor in Rosehaven or taking the AUX chord off you at a house party, David Quirk’s been around and probably will be for a bit more too if the sun doesn’t kill him (he’s pale). He’s won some awards for comedy (some deserved) and if things work out going forward he may again.

Maddy Weeks

Maddy Weeks

Maddy Weeks is an award-winning comedian, producer and personality hire based in Naarm, Melbourne. Originally from Goulburn, this country kid has quickly become a beloved staple in comedy rooms across the nation. In 2023 they won an Antenna Award for their role as host of Channel 31’s live-to-air variety show ‘Wait, We’re Live!?’, and in 2024 they were nominated for the prestigious Best Newcomer award at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Known for their high-energy performances and infectious enthusiasm, Maddy is one of the most captivating (and loudest) acts on the Australian stand-up scene.

Oliver Coleman

Oliver Coleman

No one else does stand-up like Oliver, with his rollercoaster of outrageous theatrics, off-the rails improvising and elegant writing. Expect pointed observational comedy combined with wild flights of fancy in a show that is profound and profane, personal and totally absurd.

Out of more than 600 shows Oliver was nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the 2024 Melbourne Comedy Festival. A supremely gifted stand up, actor and writer, Oliver Coleman combines his expertise to create wildly inventive and captivating comedy. After graduating from the Victorian College of Arts and spending time as an actor, Oliver moved to Scotland and started performing sketch and stand up. Since returning to Australia, he has made his mark with exquisitely crafted and spellbindingly performed shows such as Goof, Poolside and Blake Everett and Oliver Coleman Dig Their Own Graves.

Join Oliver as he searches for meaning in the minutiae of life with a show that is silly, beautiful and a whole lot of fun. Full of infectious energy, The Ballad of Oliver Coleman is a night of stand-out stand up from one of the most creative comedians in the country.

Sashi Perera

Sashi Perera

Sashi Perera is a Sri Lankan Australian comedian, writer and recovering lawyer. In 2023, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for her debut show 'Endings'.

The improviser and yarn spinner was featured as 'One to Watch' at the UK Funny Women Awards and sold out shows around the world with her 2024 show 'Boundaries'. She is one of Australia's fastest rising comedians with over 60 million views across socials.

A seamless and ultra-hilarious evening!
