#Meet Your Host

Tom Ballard
Tom Ballard is an award-winning Australian stand-up who’s trying to save the world with comedy. Since becoming the youngest ever winner of the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Best Newcomer Award, Tom has performed stand-up all over the world, including at JFL Montreal and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
No stranger to TV, Tom has appeared as a guest on every network in Australia and even hosted his own (very naughty) late-night show Tonightly with Tom Ballard on the ABC. On top of that, the former Triple J host found the time to release his debut book I, Millennial: One Snowflake’s Screed Against Boomers, Billionaires & Everything Else.
Appearing as the loveable but incompetent cop Constable Sven Alderman in the hit Prime Video series Deadloch sealed Tom’s fate as Australia’s politically minded comedian sweetheart (yes, it’s a thing). As the co-host of his weekly political podcast Serious Danger, Tom is constantly in the process of cooking up even fresher and gooder jokes about everything that’s going on with the world.
