Host - Jake Howie

Host - Jake Howie

Award-winning comedian Jake Howie is a charismatic and quick-witted stand-up from New Zealand.

With a style often revolves around personal anecdotes, cultural observations, and witty commentary on everyday life experiences, Jake has performed on stages around the world. Including Sydney's Enmore Theatre, London's Top Secret Comedy Club, New York's Eastville Comedy Club and at festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

As well as appearing on BBC1, TVNZ and ABC, Jake has done warm up for Jim Jeffries, The Project, Taskmaster and Top Gear Australia.

Brett Blake

Brett Blake

Brett Blake - The man, the mullet, the legend. A whip-smart, high-spirited stand up who has performed across Australia.

His unpretentious look belies a vulnerability and willingness to explore complex issues on stage. His material runs the gamut of living with dyslexia to truck licenses, and he is the only comic who physically built some of the venues he has performed in.

Brett’s audiences have been growing as much as his motorbike collection – exponentially and terrifyingly quickly. In fact, a motorhead to the core, a dream came true when he co-hosted the Nitro Circus “Off The Rails” tour nationally in 2025.

That same year his show Little Turd, about the time he was facing 10 years jail as a 16-year-old, was nominated for most outstanding show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Brett has starred as a guest on ABC TV’s Question Everything, Spicks and Specks and New Zealand TV3’s 7 Days. He has regularly appeared on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Galas, stolen scenes in The Tourist (Stan) and Binge’s The Twelve and held his own alongside Shaquille O’Neal and Dustin Martin in separate ad campaigns.

His comedy special Bogan Genius was released in 2022 on Paramount + and you can catch his latest special Go Hard or Go Home on his YouTube channel, which has been racking up tens of thousands of views from around the world. Still, the mullet runs deep.

Her parents reckon comedy should be a hobby. Her meteoric rise suggests otherwise.

Sez

Sez

Sez presents a sharp and original mix of musical comedy and unhinged storytelling from a Gen Z perspective.

Five foot nothing and armed with a guitar and Omnichord, Sez invites people into the trenches to explore the world around her. Through stand-up, sketches, characters, and folk-pop songs, she has struck a chord with millions on social media.

She is also building a name for herself IRL as a sought-after live act, straddling the worlds of music and comedy. She has hosted the Class Clowns National Grand Final at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, performed at the Opera House for Just For Laughs Sydney and wowed comedy crowds around Australia.

She has also performed at Party In The Paddock, Beyond The Valley and Lost Paradise, as well as MCing The Gift at Meredith Music Festival.

Sez made her TV debut playing for team Gen Z on Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen and at 27, despite her already long list of credits, she’s just getting started.

Expect deeply serious (but completely unserious) bangers and laughs.

Joe Daymond (NZ)

Joe Daymond (NZ)

Suren Jayemanne is a stand up comedian, writer and actor. While not himself an industry darling, he fairly regularly plays squash with some, making him industry darling adjacent. Suren was selected for the prestigious Moosehead Award in 2023 for his show The Bag of Vegeta which wowed critics and audiences alike at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

In addition to once lurking up the back of a Thor film, Suren is the creator and host of SBS Food's Good Tucker, his stand up special featured on ABC's Comedy Next Gen (2018) and he has appeared on Comedy Up Late (ABC), Question Everything (ABC), The Cook Up (SBS) and Celebrity Letters & Numbers (SBS). He is also a writer for The Project (TEN) and Wil Anderson's Question Everything (ABC).
