For 20 years, the Cool Nights Big Band has been bringing big band music to life in Toowoomba.
Founded in 2006 with a vision to create an independent ensemble that would endure for generations, Cool Nights has grown into one of the region’s most established community musical ensembles, performing alongside leading Australian and international musicians and entertaining audiences across South-East Queensland and beyond.
Now, they're celebrating two decades of music, musicians and memorable performances with a special 20th Anniversary Concert.
Expect the unmistakable sound of a full big band, with a program spanning swinging jazz and timeless classics through to Latin, rock, pop and contemporary favourites. It’s a celebration of where we’ve been, the musicians and audiences who have been part of the journey, and the music still to come.
