#Blending heartfelt lyricism, rich vocals, and signature alt‑country storytelling

Recorded in Nashville with five-time Grammy Award-winning engineer Sean Sullivan and renowned producer Mike Lopinto, the track marks a bold new chapter in Ray’s celebrated career. Blending heartfelt lyricism, rich vocals, and her signature alt‑country storytelling, Before The Rain builds on a legacy that includes three Queensland Music Awards, an AIR nomination, and recognition in the International Songwriting Competition. “This song is the emotional heartbeat of the album,” Ray says. “It captures the quiet strength found just before change arrives.”
