Blending heartfelt lyricism, rich vocals, and her signature alt‑country storytelling, Before The Rain builds on a legacy that includes three Queensland Music Awards, an AIR nomination, and recognition in the International Songwriting Competition. “This song is the emotional heartbeat of the album,” Ray says. “It captures the quiet strength found just before change arrives.”
