Empire Youth Arts

In line with direction from the Australian Government we finished Term 1 via a virtual platform. We are all responsible for keeping each other safe and our young citizens are an active part of that process and it is important that at this time the connections we have built through training, discovering and creating together are not lost – we are a community no matter the circumstances.

For Term Two, we will run an online session during usual class time to check-in and talk about mental health and to work through a series of activities in line with our training for this term.

Please be assured that we will continue to monitor government recommendations and as soon as we are able to we shall return to training as usual.

We understand that these are challenging times, and if you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact us on 0746989926 or youtharts@empiretheatre.com.au

EMPIRE YOUTH ARTS VIRTUAL CODE OF CONDUCT

Participants will endeavour to abide by the Empire Youth arts principals of quality, collaboration, professionalism and respect. Participants will engage in activities with a positive, inclusive and open mindset, with full understanding of the impact their behaviour and attitude has on the quality of the online learning experience for all, and the work achieved. Participants and parent/guardians will be notified if they are in breach of the code - including any behaviour online or that which continues into offline spaces which may reflect poorly on participants or activities - and will lead to exclusion from further classes.

Empire Youth Arts aims to enrich and empower the young people of the Toowoomba region through providing regular drama workshops. Through drama games, exercises and performance-based tasks run by highly qualified and experienced facilitators, participants will learn drama,  communication and teamwork skills, whilst connecting with other drama fans and developing performers.
