Launched in 2010, Empire Youth Arts aims to enrich and empower the young people of the Toowoomba region. Providing a variety of regular drama workshops, holiday workshops and elite performance program opportunities, Empire Youth Arts is an invaluable program to the young people of the Toowoomba community and beyond.
Empire Youth Arts also provides a number of classes outside Toowoomba, including term long classes, workshops, masterclasses and educational support, working in Dalby, Lockyer Valley, the Somerset Region, Mitchell, Miles, Charleville, Pittsworth and Crows Nest in the past few years.
DRAMA STARTER (Grades 2-4)
Get a taste for what drama is all about with these fun, introductory classes. Learn about storytelling, performing and expressing yourself creatively with like-minded people.
Saturdays 9am to 10am

DRAMA ONE (Grades 5-7)
Have fun by learning core performance and creative skills while building your self-confidence and focus through exciting drama activities.

DRAMA TWO (Grades 8 - 10)
Refine your growing drama and performance skills in a passionate and supportive environment and create original, devised and scripted outcomes

DRAMA PLUS (Grade 11 - Young Adult)
Designed for students to gain a deeper understanding of their world through drama and performance. Suited to those that would like to advance their skills and opportunities in artistic development and performance, Drama Plus goes beyond curriculum learning and enhances the skills required to progress in the industry.
Wednesdays 6pm to 8pm
$200 per term (8 weeks)

EMPIRE YOUTH ARTS CODE OF CONDUCT Participants will endeavour to abide by the Empire Youth arts principals of quality, collaboration, professionalism and respect. Participants will engage in activities with a positive, inclusive and open mindset, with full understanding of the impact their behaviour and attitude has on the quality of the learning experience for all, and the work achieved. Participants and parent/guardians will be notified if they are in breach of the code, which may lead to exclusion from class.
DALBY EMPIRE YOUTH ARTS CLASSES
JUNIOR CLASS (AGES 9-12)
Learning basic performance and creative skills while building your self-confidence and focus through exciting drama activities. Develop your drama and performance skills in a passionate and supportive environment and create original outcomes.

SENIOR CLASS (13+)
Continue your learning of basic performance and creative skills and continue to build self-confidence and focus through exciting drama activities and exercises. Develop your drama and performance skills in a passionate and supportive environment and create original outcomes.
