The Main Stage offers endless possibilities for event planning. The stage is designed to be extremely versatile and is the ideal venue for concerts, shows, symposiums and ceremonies. With sophisticated sound and lighting technology, a range of multi-media and special effects available, the Empire Theatre's Main Stage and Auditorium is an ideal venue for your show, function or ceremony.
The Empire Theatre Auditorium has a maximum seating capacity of 1565, with the Main Theatre Stage capable of seating 350 guests at round banquet tables.

In line with the Federal Government’s ban on indoor public gatherings over 100 people the Empire Theatre is now closed.
All performances between now and April 30 will be cancelled or postponed until later in the year.
