Enjoy a ‘classic’ string quartet performance in Sunrise, featuring Artists-in-Residence, Orava Quartet in a wonderful program that takes its name from the opening work by (the father of the string quartet) Joseph Haydn. Roll forward a few generations and find yourself in the 20th Century with Erwin Schulhoff’s first quartet, where the composer’s Czech heritage shines through, before concluding with the sunset of Sunrise, one of the great quartets of all time by French impressionist composer, Maurice Ravel.
