Both Michael Cormick and Claire Lyon have performed extensively both in Australia and overseas.
Michael was the original Beast in Beauty and Beast in Australia, before travelling to London’s West End to play the role of Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera. Since then he has played the role of Phantom back here in Australia. Last year, Michael was seen in the role of Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar at the State Theatre, Melbourne. Only last year Michael played The Pirate King in the Empire Theatre's production of Pirates of Penzance.
Claire is one of the few actresses in the world to have been involved in both The Phantom of the Opera and its sequel, Love Never Dies, in which she performed the same role of Christine. She has toured internationally including a sell out tour with her friend Josh Groban. Later this year, Claire will perform in Thoroughly Modern Millie in Melbourne.
Accompanied by Bernard Walz on piano, Michael and Claire will perform favourite songs from shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Cats and Beauty and the Beast.
This show replaces John McNally who is unable to perform due to illness.
