“The very ink with which history is written is merely fluid prejudice.” – Mark Twain.
This year our Senior IMPACT Ensemble have worked to create a stirring piece of Australian Gothic theatre, inspired by the long lasting myth of lost girls vanishing into the Australian landscape.
Their original new work Of Myths & Monoliths interrogates these stories and their effects on our growing society, and seek to remedy these beloved classics with their less than beautiful origins. New stories collide with old, and the very nature of story begins to unravel as we discover the truth behind the disappearance of girls who never existed, and the role of contemporary young people as allies and advocates for a future we can all be proud of.
