Performing Arts Support Program and Touring Initiative

The Empire Theatres is proud to deliver these new programs with the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), a partnership between the Queensland Government and the Toowoomba Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland. The Performing Arts Support Fund and the Touring Initiative offer new opportunities for performing artists and performance creators to develop their skills and networks in the region.

Performing Arts Support Program (PASP)

Groups and Individuals based in the Toowoomba Regional Council area can apply for funds of up to $2000 to assist in the production of their performance-based work. These funds must go to paying personnel (Creative team members, specialised technicians, mentors or performers) that will enhance the creative development, capacity and/or the overall outcome of the work and the professional practise of those involved.
