Following the success of Project Puccini in 2014, Opera at Jimbour (Fledermaus) in 2015 and recently Project Rossini in 2016, Opera Q is again giving Queeslanders in the Toowoomba region the opportunity to perform in Franz Lehár's The Merry Widow at Queensland Music Festival's Opera at Jimbour in 2017.
Successful auditionees will take to the stage as part of the Toowoomba Community Chorus on Saturday 22 July alongside OperaQ principal artists Emily Burke, David Hobson, Hayley Sugars and Virgilio Marino and the Queensland Conservatorium Orchestra.
Up to 46 places are available in the Toowoomba Community Chorus with auditions taking place on 17 and 18 February 2017.
Auditions close 5pm Tuesday 31 January 2017.

Social distancing measures have been put in place across the venue including queue controls. All patrons are asked to maintain the adequate distance from other guests outside their group.
Seats have been allocated to each booking group allowing adequate social distancing between each group. It is important you sit in your allocated seat.
