One Night Only with International Broadway Star- Shoshana Bean!

A Broadway star will light up the Empire Theatre’s Armitage Centre stage this month, with acclaimed musical theatre performer Shoshana Bean on July 15 for one night only.

In celebration of the upcoming Empire Theatres production of Wicked in 2017, one of the first performers to play the iconically green skinned witch Elphaba, original Hairspray cast member and seasoned stage veteran Shoshana Bean, will be spending an evening taking her audience along for a musical journey as she performs original work, chart hits, old classics and some Broadway medleys.

Bean’s versatile voice ensures each song is executed beautifully with her own flair and individuality, regardless of genre or topic.

Audiences will be blown away by her powerhouse vocals, impressive range, and emotional performances.

Having topped the ITunes R&B and Blues chart in the US and UK with her independent solo releases, and with her music featured on US TV channels across a range of popular shows, fans will be delighted to see her get back to her stage roots as she flexes her theatrical music muscles.

With an impressive resume including singing backup for Michael Jackson, duets with Brian McKnight and Bebe Winans, and arranging vocals for Jennifer Lopez, old and new fans can expect a thrilling live show that skilfully weaves reinvented classics and new favourites seamlessly with Shoshana’s unique and heartfelt brand of original soul music.

"She is hilarious and comes across incredibly natural onstage. She doesn't take herself too seriously, yet you certainly feel in the presence of a star. Shoshana Bean is in a league of her own." - West End Frame

"Shoshana manages to deliver a show that covers both her theatre fans, music fans and those that love both. From hit musical numbers through to R&B tracks and back again, Shoshana Bean shows London exactly why she is one of the finest Broadway leading ladies around." - London Gay Times

Shoshana Bean’s performance will be performed in an intimate cabaret style setting, with table seating and cheese platters available.
