Film buffs from across the Darling Downs will gather on the Empire Church Lawn from February 20-21 for the Empire Theatres third outdoor film festival.
Presented by Colin Mackay The Good Guys, February Film Feast is a chance to kick back under the stars for a weekend of feature and short films, live entertainment, children’s workshops and food stalls.
The February Film Feast kicks off Saturday 20 February with a Film Making Workshop and My Neighbour Totoro for the kids, followed by screenings of award winning dance film Ward of the State, feature film The Young and Prodigious T. S. Spivet presented by Toowoomba Film Society, and outdoor screenings of ABC Open Short Films and the best of the Flickerfest Australian Shorts.
Sunday’s program of events combines a screening of Paris je t’aime in the Armitage Centre presented by Alliance Française, as well as outdoor screenings of local short films and the best of the Flickerfest International Shorts.
Please note children under 15+ must be accompanied by an adult to all screenings.
