Following the Queensland Government’s easing of restrictions on live performance venues, the Empire Theatres are once again able to host events at 100% seating capacity across all spaces.
As of 4pm on Tuesday November 17, indoor venues across the state can operate with one person per 2sqm or up to 100% of seated venue capacity with patrons in allocated seating.
Empire Theatre ticketing staff are working through the list of upcoming performances to adjust the seating plans and tickets to reflect these changes.
We ask all patrons to exercise patience as we make these adjustments to a large number of tickets.
Tickets will be distributed via email in PDF format approximately 48 hours before the performance.
Patrons must still provide contact tracing details for all audience members in attendance to email@example.com prior to the performance.
Patrons are encouraged to wear masks when exiting and entering the venue.
It is also recommended a mask be worn when leaving an allocated seat for any reason including using the bathroom or visiting the bar areas to purchase food or beverages.
The Empire Theatre holds the safety or our patrons, performers and staff as the highest priority and is currently implementing social distancing in foyer areas, contact tracing practises and increased hygiene and cleaning.
Please note all tickets purchased will be emailed in PDF format to the ticket purchaser approximately 48 hours prior to the performance.
All patrons must provide their name, address, phone number and email before the performance to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Increased hygiene facilities and social distancing measures are in place including COVID safe seating in the auditoriums, contactless payment preferred, and extensive contact tracing policies required for all patrons.
