Time to see the Empire Theatres highly successful musical Mamma Mia! is running out with just four more performances left in the season.
On stage Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, this musical has been a hit with an audience of around 4500 throughout the opening weekend.
There are just four performances remaining before the curtain falls on this idyllic Greek island for the last time, starting tonight until Sunday’s matinee which will close out the season.
Audiences will take a trip to a stunning Greek island from the comfort of the Empire Theatre auditorium when the hilarious heart-warming story of a young woman’s search for her birth father before her wedding is brought to life.
Set to the music of Swedish supergroup, ABBA, this blockbuster jukebox musical has been a hit with audiences all over the world for 20 years and is the unmissable event on the Empire Theatre’s calendar.
On stage is Chinchilla raised actress Diana Holt as Donna and Highfields performer Sophie Volp as her daughter Sophie. They are joined by an incredible lineup of local performers including Michael Escober (Sam Carmichael), Trent Sellars (Harry Bright), Tristan James (Bill Austin), James Taylor (Sky), Vicki Bravery (Tanya), Gayle Dixon (Rosie), Sophie Kleinschmidt (Lisa), Kate Hudson-James (Ali), Nicholas Joy (Pepper), Joshua Rognoni (Eddie), an exceptional ensemble and band of backstage singers.
