Empire Theatre audiences have a unique opportunity to enjoy an incredible performance which celebrates young people and supports a worthwhile cause in the Armitage Centre on Friday September 27.
Based on the stories of parents, siblings, and guests of Queensland’s only youth hospice, Hummingbird House, We Live Here by Flipside Circus is an inspiring circus show that brings to the stage, memories and moments that make a life and celebrates the present moment through the eyes of young people.
Created by a team of highly skilled young circus performers and professional acrobats, We Live Here explores themes of resilience, chaos and the beauty of a moment shared.
The We Live Here cast includes three young performers aged between 11 and 16, who work alongside two professional adult artists, making this show a completely unique theatre experience.
This performance is presented by the Empire Theatre in support of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation with $5 from every ticket sold donated to their children’s appeal.
We Live Here is part of the Thrive on Arts festival held at the Empire Theatre from September 25-29.
Workshops from Flipside Circus are also available for those aged 2-16. Full details for these workshops are listed on our website.
