In celebration of the reopening of the Empire Theatre after the major refurbishment and the 2019 major production of Kinky Boots, the Empire Theatres have released a range of ‘Access Tickets” for the opening weekend.
The Empire Theatre’s six show season of Kinky Boots, proudly sponsored by Heritage Bank, opens March 22 and runs until Sunday, March 31.
In an effort to give the entire community the chance to experience the newly refurbished theatre and an excellent musical, a limited number of “Access Tickets” are available at the affordable price of $25.00 each.
“Access Tickets” are the perfect way for audience members who have never attended a musical before to give it a try or be one of the first to experience the new auditorium.
Utilizing the back two rows of the spectacular Empire Theatre Auditorium balcony, access ticket holders will enjoy the same sight and sound of one of the award winning musical brought to life by a talented local cast for a discounted price.
Based on a true story and the 2005 film of the same name, Kinky Boots is an exhilarating new musical with a score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, knockout dancing and a spectacularly inspiring story.

Social distancing measures have been put in place across the venue including queue controls. All patrons are asked to maintain the adequate distance from other guests outside their group.
Seats have been allocated to each booking group allowing adequate social distancing between each group. It is important you sit in your allocated seat.
