Toowoomba born singer, Jason Turnbull will take the stage with acclaimed classical trio, Tenori, when they perform at the Empire Theatre’s Armitage Centre on Saturday, February 2.
These four Queensland tenors met while touring internationally with the highly popular group, The Ten Tenors, together performing in venues such as London’s Royal Albert Hall, The Pantages Theatre in LA and the Sydney Opera House.
After some time apart working with Opera Australia, Opera Queensland and many of the country’s finest orchestras, current Tenori lineup David Kidd, Craig Atkinson and Andrew Pryor and special guest Jason Turnbull are back together on stage doing what they do best.
Sharing a classic collection of songs that remain as impressive as they day they were written, this performance includes pieces by Puccini, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lloyd-Webber and Peter Allen, just to name a few.
Tenori have established themselves as a national touring force, travelling all over the country and sharing the stage with the likes of James Morrison and Marina Prior and are known for their stylish and unique takes on classics from the world of opera, music theatre, pop and jazz.
