Australia’s legendary musical treasure will tour Australia in 2024 performing her ‘Still Shining’ album concert repertoire. This two-and-a-half-hour musical showcase is a celebration of Marcia’s career and will feature every charting song from her vast repertoire, commencing with ‘Fire and Rain’ through to the discotheque era and to 2023 with the greatest hits album and ‘The Gospel According to Marcia’.

Marcia has returned to the judging panel for the 2024 season of Australian Idol on the Seven Network and is currently touring Australia in the hit stage production Grease the Musical.

Marcia’s love affair with Australian audiences continues in 2024. Having sold over three million copies of her 23 albums, been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 and awarded the Order of Australia (AM) in 2009 for her services to the Australian entertainment industry, a Marcia Hines concert is a celebration of her journey, the highs, the lows and the extraordinary relationship she has with Australian audiences.

Australia’s beloved musical treasure Marcia Hines, with a career spanning five decades, has released 22 albums, selling 2.6 million copies, and has garnered countless chart-topping singles and multi-platinum records globally.

Marcia is an inspiration to women and Australians everywhere, constantly reinventing herself and setting industry benchmarks. She moved from Boston Massachusetts to Sydney in 1970, at just 16, to star in the Australian production of Hair and then became the first black woman to star in Jesus Christ Superstar. Marcia was Australian Idol’s favourite judge for the original show’s seven consecutive years and returns to the judging panel for the Seven Network’s reboot in 2024. She was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 and in 2023 she received the Support Act Music in the House Award for Excellence in the Community. This award and the Order of Australia (AM) received in 2009 acknowledged her services to the Australian entertainment industry as a performer, judge, mentor and the extraordinary contribution she has made to the community through a range of charitable organisations.

Chris Luder - Vocals

Hailing from Queensland in Australia’s tropical north, Chris has had a colourful history in the music biz. Coming from a strong soul and RnB background, he rose to prominence touring internationally with supergroup, The Wiggles, as a dancer and understudy.
He further came into public view as a finalist on the 3rd season of Australian Idol where he was noted for his dynamic performance and vocal expertise. Since then he has established himself as a formidable talent and mainstay of the Sydney live band and sound system scene, appearing on Channel V and performing regularly with international renowned EDM brand, HedKandi in Australia and abroad.

Stef Furnari - Percussion

Stef Furnari is one of Australia’s leading drummers whose infectious performing personality captivates every audience member in sight. After completing a Bachelor of Music from the Australian Institute of Music followed by a Graduates Diploma in Education at ACU, Stef’s career took off with gigs in the Australian & International music scene. Stef tours with Australian created and produced theatre show the Drummer Queens, where she plays the show’s rebellious & cheeky character “Rebel”.

Ron Haryanto - Vocals

Artist, singer-songwriter and entertainer Ron E Jones is best known for his dynamic performances and energetic stage presence. His distinct sound and writing has been sought after from artists around the world. A mainstay in Sydney’s music scene as a frontman, he has graced stages at festivals and venues throughout Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Europe.
