Human/e - was created as a reaction to the recent global refugee crises. The work speaks candidly about what it means to be Australian, and the courage required to leave one’s home to seek refuge in an increasingly unstable world. Performed by eight talented year 11 and 12 dance students.
Mother – a newly commissioned solo created on Canadian dance artist Jen Murray. Mother will explore this new stage of life from all aspects; the good, the bad, the ugly, the sacrifices required, and what, ultimately, makes it all worthwhile.
