Preparations are well on the way for the Empire Theatres new and exciting holiday activities -Thrive on Arts. Positioned over Carnival of Flowers and the September school holidays, the 10 days of Thrive includes a range of free and low-cost shows and activities to encourage participation from families and children.
Paradise the Parrot and Amaze Cardboard Labyrinth are interactive activities for young people and require volunteers willing to be trained by artists in some crafty skills and keen to get their hands a little dirty. Volunteers on these events will be working with kids to help them participate and contribute to the installations.
Volunteers will need to be over 16, need a current blue card, have good availability during the day over 21-30 Sept and a fun-loving, can-do attitude! Some experience working with children preferred. Get in touch with Projects Manager Jeanette on 46989925 by Monday 10 September for more details or to register your interest.
